Sagar reviews development projects

SRINAGAR, July 19: NC general secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar here today presided over a review meeting to discuss advancement of development projects in Theed A and Theed B Blocks of Khanyar Constituency.
Focus of the meeting was on strengthening the rural infrastructure through various developmental schemes, including NREGA, PRI and CD Panchayat schemes.
During meeting, Sagar announced the approval of Rs 1.33 crore for various development works aimed at bolstering rural infrastructure.
Additionally, Sagar released financial allocations to address the critical needs of the Constituency.
A sum of approximately Rs 75 lakh was allocated for healthcare improvements to enhance the quality and accessibility of medical services in rural areas.
A further Rs 45 lakh was earmarked to improve educational facilities in the region.
Furthermore, nearly Rs 1.5 crore will be invested in augmenting and upgrading the existing water supply systems.
Sagar emphasized the importance of these investments in uplifting the overall quality of life in Khanyar’s rural areas.
