UDHAMPUR, July 12: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal today inspected the ongoing construction works of Community Health Centre, Chenani and Allopathic Dispensary, Kud.
Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Arun Sharma, Executive Engineer JKPCC, Assistant Executive Engineer PWD, Block Medical Officer, Chenani and other officers accompanied the DDC during her visit.
Various issues were taken up which include parking and fencing of CHC Chenani, approach road for CHC, Chenani and AD, Kud.
DDC visited the emergency ward, OPD and other wards of newly constructed CHC, Chenani and took on spot assessment of the quality of work. She directed the Engineers of JKPCC to complete the furnishing work and construction of boundary wall of the CHC. She also directed to develop parking facility at the Community Health Centre. She instructed CMO Udhampur for the shifting of old CHC into the newly constructed CHC after the completion of remaining works immediately so that the people of the area would be able to get the modern medicare facilities.
Mr. Mudgal directed the engineers of JKPCC to complete the remaining construction work as early as possible along with the other required facilities like parking and approach road so that the hospital would be dedicated to the people of the area.
A deputation of local people of the area also called on the DDC and put forth their problems. She patiently heard the deputation and assured for early redressal of problem being faced by them.
Later, the DDC also paid visit to the construction site of Allopathic Dispensary Kud which is being constructed by PWD. While giving instruction to the engineers, she asked not to compromise with the quality of material and ensure timely completion of construction work.
During her tour, she also inspected the ongoing construction of bridge which would connect Chenani and Champari area. She gave necessary instruction to the officers of executing agency to start the construction work as early as possible.
