Machail Yatra to commence from Aug 1

JAMMU, July 12: Serv Shakti Sevak Sanstha is organizing annual Machail Yatra from August 1.
This was stated by president of the Sanstha Prahlad Singh Rathore while interacting with media persons during press conference here today.
He said that the Sanstha has conducted meetings regarding free langar for devotees for proper scheduling of langer dates.
He added that the Sanstha is fully geared up for preparation of Machail Yatra, which will commence on August 1.
The Sanstha also held meeting with DC Kishtwar and all administrative officers, who have been instructed by DC Kishtwar to work out all short coming and hindrances of yatra, he said.
He informed that this year yatra is slightly more innovative as the Sanstha has renovated Machail Temple complex at village Machail, which shall lay impact on the mind of regular yatries about the re-affirmative steps visible on ground, adding that Helicopter service is also scheduled from August 1.
He said that the devotees in general regret the rate of helicopter services of Rs 5050, which is too high as compared to Amaranth Yatra, Vaishno Devi Yatra and Mani Mahesh Yatra and demanded rate of helicopter services at par with other shrines.
Rathore further stated that Sanstha management committee has started to construct a huge multi-storey yatri bhawan at base camp Gulabgarh, adding that the Sanstha will also provide tented colony at base camp Gulabgarh to yatries.
Among others present were RS Chouhan, general secretary, Advocate CL Thakur, Chairman, Daljeet Singh, president, Shiksha Niketan Machail.
