JAMMU, June 27: A labourer from Bihar apparently ended his life by hanging with a ceiling fan at his rented accommodation in Janipur area here today.
Guddu (19) of Bihar, at present Janipur, Jammu, was spotted hanging with a ceiling fan at his current accommodation by his colleagues last evening, officials said.
Accordingly, they alerted the police, who shifted him to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, they said.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter by initiating inquest proceedings to further investigate into the matter.
