JAMMU, June 23: A bus conductor was found dead inside his vehicle under mysterious circumstances here at Bus Stand area today.
Mushtaq Ahmed (approximately 40-45 years old), son of Hayat Bhatt of Mahore, Reasi, was noticed in unconscious conditions inside a Jammu-Banihal route bus (JK02BG-6683) by some drivers and conductors, who accordingly informed police, officials said.
He was immediately taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, they said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
