UDHAMPUR, June 15: Police seized two vehicles allegedly involved in illegal mining at Kud and Battal Ballian in Udhampur district.
During patrolling at Battal Ballian, one vehicle bearing registration number JK14K 2906 was found carrying sand/mining material without any valid permission. The vehicle was seized on the spot and the matter has been taken up with DMO Udhampur for further necessary action.
During naka checking near Main Bazaar Kud, another vehicle, bearing registration number JK19A- 5938 was found transporting mining material without valid token/form. The vehicle was seized at PS Kud, and the matter was referred to DMO Udhampur.
