UDHAMPUR, June 14: In a shocking incident, a 10- year old girl was allegedly raped by a youth of 26 years in village Jib, under the jurisdiction of Rehambal Police Station.
Acting swiftly, Police have arrested the accused, identified as Anikat, resident of village Jib Udhampur. A case FIR number 87/2025 has been registered in this connection under relevant sections of POCSO Act.
The victim was sent to the District Hospital Udhampur for medical examination while Police have started further investigations into the case.
