UDHAMPUR, June 14: An elderly man was knocked to death by a speeding motorcycle near Salathia Chowk, here today.
According to the reports, a pedestrian namely Swaran Dass (65), son of Shonku Ram, resident of Ward number 7, Karlai Udhampur, was hit by a motorcycle bearing registration number JK14L-0140 , resulting into serious injuries to the victim.
Even as the victim was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Udhampur Police have registered the case in this connection.
