JAMMU, May 27: The J&K Amateur Boxing Association (JKABA) will hold selection trials for Junior Boys and Girls on June 2, at the Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu. The trials are being conducted ahead of the 6th Junior National Boxing Championship, scheduled to be held in Rohtak from June 19 to 26.
The handout issued by Rajan Sharma, Honorary General Secretary, JKABA stated that interested boxers must report to Anil Wadhera, Senior Boxing Coach, at 8:00 am on June 2, with original documents and two sets of photocopies. Required documents include birth certificate, Aadhaar card, BFI medical form, HIV/Hepatitis B & C test reports, age estimation certificate, non-pregnancy certificate (for women only) and medical forms approved by the Sports Council. Eligible participants must be born between 1/1/2009 and 31/12/2010.
He further informed that boxers must submit their names by June 1. The draws will be held on June 2. For details, participants can contact Coach Anil Wadhera at 7006031537.
