JAMMU, May 20: The Wushu Association of Jammu & Kashmir is set to conduct selection trials for the upcoming 34th Senior National Wushu Championship, scheduled to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan from June 14 to 19. The trials will take place on May 22 and 23 at Wushu Hall, MA Stadium, Jammu.
To ensure fair and transparent selection, the Association has constituted a Selection Committee comprising top officials and coaches. The committee includes Kuldeep Handoo (Chairman) and Rajinder Singh, Kamal Kishore, Ajay Paul Gill, Lalit Singh, Ajaz Hassan, Rameez, Irfan Ahmed and Nisar Mir as members.
Following the trials, the J&K Sports Council will organise a Coaching Camp for the selected athletes at Srinagar from May 26 to June 12. This camp aims to prepare the J&K team for the prestigious National Championship in Jaipur, which will bring together the best Wushu athletes from across the country.
The Wushu Association of J&K has invited all eligible athletes to participate in the trials and represent the Union Territory at the national level.
