JAMMU, Apr 11: Goswami Sant Shri Guru Nabha Samiti celebrated 453rd Prakash Utsav of Goswami Shri Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj with religious fervour and gaiety at Langer Ward Number 55, here.
A large number of followers of Guru Nabha Dass Ji attended the function. Devotional songs, and Bhajan Kirtan was held and a langar was also organised on the occasion.
On the occasion senior member of the Samiti Bodh Raj Pangotra (retd Under Secretary) threw light on the life and teachings of the great saint. He disclosed that Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj was born on April 8 in 1537 at village Bhadrachalam on the sacred bank of Godawari river in district Khamam Andhra Pradesh. He appeared in Northern India during Bhagti Movement. He was a great spiritual soul who wrote Bhagat Maal Granth.
