Prominent KPs hold meet at Hari Parbhat

JAMMU, Apr 2: A meeting of prominent Kashmir Pandits and the representative of Main Kashmir Pandit organizations was held in the premises of Hari Parbhat Temple Dhok Paloura here, today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of MK Yogi a socio political activist and senior leader.
During the proceedings of the meeting Ranjeet Gurkha, the three time democratically elected president of the Shri Shri Sharika Chakreshwari Sanstha presented a voluminous and consolidated report covering the developmental activities viz, construction, repairs, renovation, electrification, asset protection and future programs of Sanstha before the gathering.
He submitted two separate account statements covering of Jammu and Srinagar Shrines supported by all the necessary income and expenditure receipts and all other relevant documents. The meeting fully endorsed the functioning of the Sanstha under Gurkha.
They condemned the recent ransacking attempt by some persons in the holy premises of Hari Parbhat temple that too during the most auspicious occasion of New Year day-Navreh.
A join appeal was made to Government and other legal authorities to ensure that no such act takes place in the shrine which is the presiding deity of Pandits in future.
The meeting was attended by Bannerji Hak, Surinder Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Dr. R.L. Dhar, M.K. Jalali, Umesh Bhat, Avtar Krishan Bhat, Sunil Koul, D.J. Ganjoo, Sanjay Raina, R.K.Koul, Kiran Wattal, Tej Kishen Koul, B.L. Jalali, Shiban Lal Dhar, Vijay Qazi and Dr.TK.Bhat.
