JAMMU, Feb 11: Special Judge Anticorruption Baramulla Amarjeet Singh Langeh today framed corruption charges against Tariq Ah Hajam, Patwari Halqa Zaloora, who was caught red-handed by the ACB Baramulla while accepting bribe money.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “the evidence collected during investigation and recovery of bribe amount coupled with evidence of witnesses involved in trap proceedings and other material available on record – explicitly indicates involvement of accused in commission of offence under Section 7 of P C Act”.
“Therefore, the accused is charge sheeted for the same and contents of the charge are read over and explained to accused in the open court”, read the order.
