LADAKH, Feb 6: Anti-Corruption Bureau/Vigilance Ladakh has initiated a Joint Surprise Check (JSC) at the Ladakh University Campus, Leh, Taru Thang, in connection with a source report regarding alleged misuse of official position and Government funds by certain officials.

According to an official statement, issued by Superintendent of Police, ACB/Vigilance Ladakh, Piyush Fulzele, a team of ACB Ladakh officers, under the supervision of Inspector Jugmet Singay Wangdus, Enquiring Officer ACB Ladakh along with SI Welayat Ali, SI Chuskit Angmo and ASI Konchok Dorji, conducted raids and JSC at the Ladakh University Campus on February 5, 2025.
During the raids, numerous documents related to the purchase and stock records of the Ladakh University over the past few years, were seized. Investigation is going on, read the official statement.
