Tribute paid to artist Brij Kishori

JAMMU, Feb 4: In order to pay their tribute to the legendary artist of Kashmir Brij Kishori, a condolence meeting was held here today.
A larger number of artists participated in the meeting and paid homage to their departed colleague, two minute silence was observed before the speakers narrated about the legendary artist.
They described Brij Kishori an institution of performing talent, who dedicated more than 60 years to the performing art.
The artists expressed their solidarity with the family of Brij Kishori at this time of grief.
Among others who attended the meeting included Bihari Kak, Kamal Razdan, Bharti Zaroo, Vijay Dhar, Ashok Zalpuri, Ashok Zafrani, Ravi Kachroo, Anil Wariku, K D Koul, Rajesh Kaw and Ayash Arif.
The Chinar Art Foundation, a Socio-Cultural organisation also held a condolence meet for paying floral tribute to the departed Soul of Brij Kishori Zutshi (Nakhasi).
Speaking on the occasion, President of Chinar Art Foundation, Kusum Dhar remembered her experience of working with Brij Kishori and said that besides being a great Actor Brij Kishori was a noble soul and a nice human being.
P N Pandita, Chief Patron, Chinar Art Foundation, Rajesh Khar, Sachin Dhar and Ritu Mehra were also present on the occasion.
