JAMMU, Jan 23: The newly elected team of the Jammu and Kashmir Petroleum Dealers Association (JKPDA) today called on Controller, Legal Metrology, Jammu and discussed key issues affecting the association and its members.
The delegation was led by president Rahul Gupta, along with General Secretary Avatar Singh Khalsa and Chetan Kohli. During the meeting, the team highlighted critical challenges faced by petroleum dealers and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to ensure the smooth functioning of the sector.
Anuradha Gupta, Controller Legal Metrology extended her full support to the delegation, assuring them of the department’s cooperation in addressing their concerns. She emphasized the importance of reducing consumer grievances and urged the association to work with utmost dedication and integrity.
“This new leadership brings a renewed opportunity to strengthen consumer trust and uphold the highest standards of service. I encourage the JKPDA to focus on resolving issues proactively and ensure that the interests of consumers remain a top priority,” said Anuradha Gupta, Controller Legal Metrology J&K. The meeting concluded on a constructive note, with the JKPDA reaffirming its commitment to collaborating closely with the Legal Metrology Department to address concerns and promote consumer satisfaction across Jammu and Kashmir.
This significant meeting follows the association’s first elections in 12 years, which were conducted through ballot for the first time, marking a new era of democratic transparency.
