UDHAMPUR, Jan 19: Police here today arrested a man for mercilessly beating his two minor children, aged five and three in Panchari area.
The incident came to fore after a disturbing video in this regard went viral on social media in which Sudesh Kumar, son of Late Parkash Chand, resident of Naagni Chulna was seen brutally assaulting his kids.
Taking a cognisance of the incident, a team of cops from Police Station Panchari was promptly deployed to investigate the matter and the accused Sudesh Kumar was detained for questioning.
The children were immediately rescued from his custody and were handed over to their relatives for their safety and care.
The accused was arrested.
