KULGAM, Dec 16 : To foster collaboration and coordination for strong relationship with people and to listen their grievances, SSP Kulgam held a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group Meeting) village Hallan, today.
The meeting was attended by prominent persons/elderly people, Youth and representatives of the Hallan and other adjacent areas.
SSP Kulgam while addressing the participants urged upon the people to strengthen the hands of Police in eradicating social crime so that peaceful/crime free atmosphere is built up.
They were also informed to provide inputs/information to Police about the illegal activities if any happened for timely response and initiating preventive measures by Police to avoid any major mishap. SSP also urged upon the people to keep watch and surveillance on their children so that they may not fell prey of any bad habit which would spoil their future.
The participants highly appreciated the role and efforts of Kulgam police by way of conducting such public outreach programmes in remote areas for listening the issues and grievances of the general public.
A patient hearing was given by the SSP to their demands and assured the people that their demands pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved earliest.
Addl SP NHW Qazigund, Kulgam, SDPO Qazigund and SHO police station Qazigund were also present during the meeting.
