SAMBA, Oct 11: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, police has seized three vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba and Police Station, Vijaypur of the district Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Samba and SHO Police Station, Vijaypur while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized three vehicles including two tractor trolleys bearing Registration Number JK02L-7019 & JK08-0765 and a tractor trolley without Registration Number which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
