KISHTWAR, Oct 11: Police here today achieved a big success with the arrest of a dreaded terrorist who was on the run for the last 20 years.
The terrorist Abdul Gani, son of Abdul Satar Chopan, resident of Sigdi Markhal, Chatroo was wanted in a case registered in an FIR with number 24/2003 Under Section 302, 307 RPC 7/27 Arms Act.
He was arrested on Friday from Chatroo by a team of cops led by SHO Police Station Chatroo under the direct supervision of SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom after 20 years.
A warrant Under Section 512 Criminal Penal Code was also issued against the absconding terrorist in year 2004 by the Court of Sub Judge Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar.
