RAJOURI, Apr 14: A married woman was found dead in her rented accommodation in Kheora area, falling under the jurisdiction of Rajouri police station.
As per police sources, body of a married woman namely Tahira Parveen, wife of Zulfkar alias Kaka, a resident of Saj, Thannamandi was found dead from her rented accommodation in Kheora.
As the lady was spotted by the people since morning, they informed the police after suspecting some foul play.
On getting information, police team from Rajouri police station headed by DySP Headquarters Hamid Choudhary rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of district hospital Rajouri.
The body will be handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities tomorrow.
A case in this connection has been registered at Rajouri police station and investigation started.
However, police has launched manhunt to trace the husband of the victim for questioning.
