KATHUA, Apr 13: State president, Youth Congress, Shahnawaz Choudhary, today held a series of public meetings at Hiranagar in support of Congress candidate for Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat, Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Shahnawaz was accompanied by Neeraj Kundan, State president of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).
Addressing the public meetings, Choudhary said that Azad is the only deserving candidate from Kathua-Udhampur–Doda Parliamentary constituency, who during his tenure as Union Health Minister gave Government Medical College to Kathua district.
Azad is the only leader, who during his short tenure as Chief Minister of J&K developed the State upto the level that no other person may have developed in more than a decade, Choudhary said and urged the people to support Ghulam Nabi Azad rising above the communal lines and keeping in mind his works, experience and vision.
Neeraj Kundan said that Ghulam Nabi Azad is the most experienced leader in the country and it is our good luck that he is contesting from this Lok Sabha constituency.
The meetings were organized by Romi Sharma, Assembly general secretary, Youth Congress, Hiranagar.
