SRINAGAR, Apr 13: Two persons including a 17-year-old girl attempted suicide by consuming poison across the Valley.
A police spokesman said that Ali Mohammad Ganaie, 40, son of Abdul Gani Ganaie of Darien, Qazigund, consumed poison at his home. He was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
A 17 years old girl of Tikipora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district consumed poison at her home.
She was immediately rushed to the sub district Hospital Kupwara for treatment, the spokesman said, adding police has registered cases in these incidents.
