JAMMU, Mar 26: Narwal police today arrested a narcotic smuggler along with two kilograms of ‘ganja’.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Narwal police post led by SI Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Rafiq Manhas laid a naka near vegetable market, Narwal and intercepted a pedestrian namely Kalu Charna, son of Pabi Pradha, a resident of Orrisa, presently residing in a kiosk at Railway Line.
During checking, police recovered 2 kilograms of charas (ganja) and arrested the narcotic smuggler.
A case under FIR number 66/14 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered and investigation started.
