BOKARO, Jan 19:Armed dacoits looted cash and valuables worth about Rs 19 lakh from Balidih police station area of this district late last night.
Police today said around eight armed dacoits barraged into the house of Vinayak Kumar and looted Rs 4 lakh in cash and valuables worth about Rs 15 lakh after taking family members on gun point.
DSP Jeetendra Kumar Singh visited the spot and took stock of the situation.
Police have detained 11 people in this connection so far for questioning.
