UDHAMPUR, Nov 13: In an apparent case of suicide, a youth was found hanging from a tree near his house at Upper Galiote, Morha Kandoli in Pancheri while a GREF employee was electrocuted at his unit in Rehambal.
Reports said that Surjeet Singh (21), son of Shamsher Singh, resident of Upper Galiote Morha Kandoli Tehsil Pancheri, was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
Even as Police have registered a case in this connection under 174 Cr PC for further investigation, the deceased appeared to have committed suicide for the unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, a GREF employee was electrocuted after a he received a severe electric shock at his unit 56- APO in Rehambal. The deceased was identified as Beli Ram (41), son of Bheemsen, residence of Paddar Kishtwar.
