UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: A deputation of ReT Teachers’ Forum led by State president, Vinod Sharma and district president, Lekh Raj Parihar, submitted a memorandum containing demands of ReTs to Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, here today.
The memorandum included demands like immediate issuance of regularization orders of 4000 EVs of Jammu province, release of 2-6 months’ salary of regularized ReT teachers under SSA in different districts of Jammu province, inclusion of five years of ReT period for seniority benefit, suitable transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers and provision of SRO 43.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the deputation to issue regularization orders and release salary of teachers under SSA within one week. He also assured to concede other demands in a phased manner.
Sukhdev Singh, Parmod Sharma, Kuldip Katoch, Sushil Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Vipan Sharma, Surjit Singh and many others were part of the delegation.
