Billawaria kick starts renovation of Community Hall at Ward 56

JAMMU, Sept 20: Continuing the campaign to provide better development as well as basic facilities to the people, Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the renovation work of the Community Hall near Shri Durga Mandir at Ward 56, Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency here, today.
This work will be executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that it is a pleasure for me to start the renovation work of the Community Hall near Shri Durga andir Gangyal. Deputy Mayor said that this was an old demand of Shri Durga Mandir Gangyal Committee and local residents which was fulfilled today.
Billawaria said that he has been working towards redressing the problems faced by the people of weaker and backward sections of the society and it is indeed a matter of satisfaction for him that he has been able to make some kind of expansion. The Deputy Mayor said that an amount has been earmarked for this work, but if needed, more funds will be made available to complete other works of the Community Hall.
The Deputy Mayor further said that after the renovation of the Community Hall, the local residents will get more facilities. The Deputy Mayor said that people will now be able to do their religious or social functions in a better way in the Community Hall.
Apprising, the people about the welfare schemes of the Central Government, the Deputy Mayor said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is working on the agenda of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” and for the upliftment of every section of the society.
The Deputy Mayor said that the BJP Government has worked to give a new direction to the country during its tenure. The main objective of the BJP is to get the development work done in every area equally with full honesty.
Shri Durga Mandir Gangyal Committee and local residents expressed gratitude to Deputy Mayor for starting the renovation work of the Community Hall.
Mandir Committee, president, Puran Verma, Major Ram, Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Om Nath, Suresh Mishra, Sunny Sharma, Rajinder Choudhary, Master Kasturi Lal and others were present on the occasion.
