UDHAMPUR, Aug 19: A motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident near Manthal National Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Pranav Verma (29), son of Subhash Chandra, a resident of Janipur, Jammu. The mishap occurred when Pranav’s motorcycle apparently skidded off the road.
Local residents promptly responded to the scene and rushed Pranav to the PHC Tikri for immediate medical attention. However, due to the seriousness of his condition, the medical professionals at PHC Tikri referred him to GMC Jammu Hospital for further treatment.
Tragically, despite the medical efforts, Pranav succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment at GMC Jammu.
Following the necessary procedures including post-mortem examination, the police handed over the body of the deceased to his grieving family members.
