JAMMU, Apr 27: Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship, inaugurated its dealership for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) in Jammu.
This is the 2nd LCV dealership in J&K. The new channel partner, YA Mobility, has a 1S (Sales) setup at Sainik Colony and 2S (Service & Spares) setup at Chowadi.
The workshop is equipped with advanced tools, 5 service bays and additional quick service bays. It is equipped with sophisticated infrastructure to ensure superior customer experience.
The company currently offers a range of LCV products like Bada Dost, Dost, Partner and MiTR.
Speaking at the inauguration, Rajat Gupta, Head – LCV, Ashok Leyland Ltd, said: “One of the key reasons for the runaway success of our ‘DOST Range’ and now the ‘BADA DOST’ has been the robustness of the product and our network. We are extremely proud that our track record of service retention levels which is exemplary with close to 70 per cent of our customers returning to our dealer workshops, even after the warranty period. This new dealership is being opened to further strengthen our reach, in line with our commitment.”
He also said: “Now, there are more than 4 lakh LCVs across India.” Bada Dost, Dost, Partner and MiTR are manufactured at Ashok Leyland’s state-of-the-art Hosur plant.
BADA DOST is available at Rs 9,17,000 for the i4 and i3+ variant and at Rs 8,63,000 for i2 variant.
DOST LiTE, DOST Strong and DOST+ are available at a competitive price starting from Rs 7,45,000.
PARTNER is available at an attractive price starting from Rs. 17,00,000. MITR Bus is priced competitively starting from Rs. 21,00,000.
