JAMMU, Nov 8: RS Pura Police arrested a thief and recovered five stolen motorcycles from his possession.
As per official sources, to work out a theft case registered under FIR Number 188/2022 under section 379 IPC, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Pawan Kumar Dogra was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
The team did strenuous efforts and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Nama Rashid, son of Nazir Hussain of Simble Camp Ward Number 2 RS Pura.
During questioning, the accused person confessed his role in the aforesaid theft case. He also disclosed that he had stolen 5 motorcycles, which police team also recovered.
It is pertinent to mention that the said accused is habitual of indulging in such act of crime and his arrest was much needed.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
