JAMMU, Oct 7: Expressing deep concern over the clouds of a bigger and wider destabilization which appear to be hovering over the entire State of J&K Panun Kashmir (PK) today said the events and incidents that have happened in the State for over a year should leave no patriotic citizen in doubt about the sinister nature of a campaign which is in process and is threatening the peace and harmony.
Talking to reporters here, today PK chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo, senior KP leader, O N Trisal and Kuldeep Raina general secretary, PK appealed all the people of the State to shed complacency as a new `intifada’ aided and abetted by the subversive politics from within appears to be evolving with a definite aim of posing a grave challenge to the integrity of the nation as well as its sovereignty.
This secessionist upsurge, this time seems to be having two tracks both of which are manifesting simultaneously with a brazenness which even a lay man can’t ignore, they added.
Dr Chrungoo said public mobilizations, using communal, fundamentalist, secretarian, and secessionist fuel forms one track of this destabilization. Another track constitutes the escalation of violence almost on all fronts in the State, he added.
He said the recent attacks in Samba, Hiranagar, or elsewhere along IB and LoC or intrusion in Keran reflect that even Indian forces are not in a state of alert.
He said almost all aspects of the sanctity of the integrity and sovereignty of the nation in the State are being violated with impunity and breathtaking regularity. Insulting of the National Anthem has become almost a routine, he added.
Dr Chrungoo said the situation becomes more serious when those at the helm of affairs in the Government raise doubts about the accession and describe the problem in the State as an international dispute.
