SAMBA, Sept 1: In continuation to its drive against illegal mining and transportation of construction material, Samba Police today seized three dumpers and one Tractor-Trolley in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Samba which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
A police party of PS Samba seized two dumpers having registration Numbers JK216/ 9198, PBOBAK/ 3286 and one Tractor-Trolley bearing registration No. JK21E/3581 for illegal transpiration of construction material from Basantar river-Bed, Samba without any permission.
Similarly, a dumper bearing Registration No. JK21E-8991 has been seized by police team of Police Post (PP) Supwal for illegal transportation of construction material from Basantar River-bed near, Supwal without any valid permission.
All the vehicles seized by Samba police these incidents have been handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
