POONCH, Sept 1: The police arrested two drug- peddlers in Surankote area and recovered some quantity of heroin from their possession today.
Official sources said that Surankote police arrested two youth namely, Sajid Hussain, son of Sarvar Hussain and Aftab Ahmed, son of Mohd Rafiq, both residents of Dhargloon in Mendhar and recovered some quantity of heroin from their possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 282 /2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station, Surankote and investigation of the case taken up.
The recovery has been made by SHO Surankote under the supervision of DySP, Tanweer Jeelani, sources added.
