Anantnag, Sept 26: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepr-eneurship Develo-pment Institute (JKEDI) today organized awareness programme in district Anantnag as part of its state-wide awareness campaign.
Nearly 100 participants, including Sarpanchs, Naib Sarpanch, and educated unemployed youth from the district, attended the programme under JKEDI’s awareness campaign regarding the term loan scheme the institute implements under the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NM-DFC) under which financial assistance up to Rs 10 lakh is provided to the financially weaker sections of minority communities under NMDFC’s term loan scheme at concessional interest rates.
JKEDI communication officer, Syed Firdoos gave a presentation about various schemes being implemented by JKEDI.
Firdoos discussed in detail about the various potential sectors in the state like agri-allied sector, horticulture, floriculture, dairy farming, poultry, tourism, food processing manufacturing and services.
District Nodal Officers Gautam Saini in his welcome address spoke about the achievements of the institute.
