SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Centaur Hotel Employees Union has threatened to take to streets against the “hostile” attitude of the management of Hotel Corporation of India Limited by resorting to discrimination against them.
President of the union, Javaid Ahmad Pandit, said the Srinagar unit of the employees is worst sufferers because of the “mismanagement of the hotel. He said the union has not been paid their salaries and other emoluments by the management.
“SKICC management in Delhi wants to close the hotel, so they launch crushing tactics against us by not meeting our demands. The Government has released funds for its restoration but the management didn’t utilize them for the same,” he said.
He claimed that the General Manager of the hotel is staying in Delhi for the past six months and nobody is concerned to look into their demands.
