JAMMU, Aug 18: Samvedna Society, chairman, Keshav Chopra today organised a programme of Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) free health insurance cards distribution for Rs five lakh to the police personnel of District Police Lines (DPL), Samba.
The distribution programme was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Dr Abhishek Mahajan , Additional Superintendent of Police, Samba Surinder Chowdhary and Deputy Superintendent of Police DAR, Ajay Anand.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Samba, Dr Abhishek Mahajan appreciated the work of Samvedna Society and said that distributing Ayushman Cards at doorstep is real service for the police personnel and their families so that they can avail the benefits of free health insurance anytime they need.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra said Jammu & Kashmir Police is doing great work for the service of humanity, JKP Team doing 24×7 duty in conducting Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra smoothly so its a little bit contribution from Samvedna Society for the Heroes of JKP to get Ayushman Health Cards benefits at their door steps so that they should not go anywhere to get the health card.
Police personnel of DPL Samba complimented SSP Samba, Dr Abhishek Mahajan and Samvedna Society Team for providing them the Ayushman Health Insurance cards at their doorsteps.
