UDHAMPUR, Sept 23: Five persons were injured in different road accidents on the National Highway at Chenani, here today.
Reports said that a Tavera car bearing registration number JK14A-9487 collided with a Maruti car JK06-5534 on the National Highway near Talebari, Chenani. Police shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Chenani and their condition was stated to be stable.
The injured were identified as Sajjad Hussan, Akhter Begam, Sarfraz and Iqbal of Doda.
Police registered the case and started investigation.
In another road mishap, a motorcyclist got injured when his bike was hit by a moving bus on the National Highway near Kasar Morh, Chenani. The injured, identified as Mohd Arshad son of Abdul Batt of Bhadarwah, was shifted to hospital by police.
