JAMMU, May 20: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri today asked the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) leaders to stop the politics of “insider-outsider” for the reason that these divisive agendas won’t do any good to them or the nation as well as youngsters who have moved on to make their fortune in a much better manner either through education or startups.
He said that the entire nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and North Eastern states to Rann of Kutch in Gujarat is one and everyone has the right to work anywhere and contribute in nation building. Instigating youngsters in the name of insiders and outsiders or locals and non-locals is nothing but aimed at dividing people on the basis of caste, creed, region or religion, which is not good.
Asking these leaders to move on and stop living in an illusion, Suri said that after abrogation of Article 370, business houses are eyeing on investments in J&K just like businessmen from J&K are making money in other states of India. This could happen only because the controversial article was scrapped and doors were opened for investments. What is the harm in seeing big companies making their presence in J&K, especially when they will be employing local youth and also giving them an exposure to the outer world, he added.
