JAMMU, Apr 5: Army has foiled another infiltration attempt on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector.
This was second intrusion bid thwarted by the troops on LoC. The first was averted in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in which one militant was also killed.
However, no casualties were reported in thwarted intrusion bid in Poonch sector.
Recoveries made in Poonch encounter include two AK-47 rifles, one .303 calibre rifle akin to AK series, one pistol and ammunition.
