Committed for secularism, social equality: NC

SAMBA, Mar 20: A public meeting was today organized by NC Central Zone at Meen Sarkar in district Samba which was presided over by Zonal NC president Central Zone, Babu Ram Paul while provincial NC president, Rattan Lal Gupta was the chief guest and the meeting was organized by Bharat Bhushan, secretary Central Zone and Coordinator Samba district.
Speaking on the occasion Rattan Lal Gupta said that National Conference (NC) is committed to fight for the rights of J&K.
He said that some forces are working to divide people on communal and regional lines which will be given befitting reply.
“The country is presently going through a state of crisis and the graph of inflation is on rise with prices of essential commodities touching sky but still the BJP is claiming good governance,” Gupta said.
He further said, if voted to power NC would ensure jobs and land security to the people of J&K.
Babu Ram Paul said that NC stand committed for secularism and social equality.
“NC has a legacy of serving the poor and weaker sections of the society which was started by Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah,” he maintained adding that NC has many achievements in its kitty and urged upon the party cadres to narrate them to the younger generation so that they come to know what NC has done for them in the past.
Mohinder Singh, Sheikh Bashir, Deepender Kour, Israr Khan, Bharat Bhushan, Aslam Choudhary and others were also present on the occasion.
