SAMBA, Aug 20: MLA Bimla Luthra today visited villages Khari, Dabbar, Deali and Chorli of Block Bishnah and held a series of meetings with the women workers of National Conference (NC) to take stock of the damages caused by the recent flash floods in these areas.
The workers highlighted various problems and demands of the people of their areas. Responding to the demands of the people, MLA said these will be taken up at appropriate level for immediate redressal.
Later Bimla Luthra along with women workers met BDO of Block Bishnah and apprised him about the damages caused to the villages of the Block due to flood. The BDO assured the delegation that all possible steps would be taken to mitigate the problems faced by the flood sufferers.
