KISHTWAR, Feb 10: A missing youth was found dead in river Chenab near Sundraman Draba area here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Vikram Singh, son of Chaman Lal of Kuleed District Kishtwar. He was missing since November 17 last year and a missing report also stands entered into the daily dairy of Police Station Kishtwar.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Kishtwar Police in this regard.
