BARI BRAHMANA, Jan 24: An investor awareness webinar was organized by Dogra Group of Colleges (DGC)-Dogra Degree College, Dogra College of Education and Dogra Law College in collaboration with Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
Topic of the webinar was ‘Financial Empowerment through Health Creation.’
Surya Kant Sharma, Senior Consultant AMFI was keynote speaker who at the outset touched upon the importance of financial security of individuals and emphasized that an investor should first think and ensure adequate life insurance, reasonable medical insurance cover and an emergency fund before embarking upon the journey of wealth creation through sustained investments which is most essential for prosperity.
He also shared basic information on various investment avenues available in the market.
After the sessions, a question answer session was held for the participants.
Around 1500 persons attended the webinar and prominent among those were Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust; Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College; Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal Dogra College of Education; Dr. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator DET and Komila Aggarwal, Principal Incharge Dogra Law College.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Simran Devi, Lecturer in Dogra Degree College.
