JAMMU, Aug 7: Police authorities today sanctioned Police Post for Jagti township in Nagrota, where a Kashmiri migrant had been murdered few days back.
The Police Post, which has come up at the entrance of new Bye Pass Road near Jagti township, would work under the jurisdiction of Nagrota police station.
Sub Inspector Ashok Bajaj has been appointed as Incharge of the newly created Police Post, sources said.
Police parties have already worked out the murder case of the migrant by apprehending all the accused, seizing weapon of offence and the vehicles used in committing the crime.
SDPO Nagrota Khalik Chowdhary today visited the newly created police post and directed the staff to seek people’s cooperation in maintaining law and order.
