Dozens of youth join Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Jan 16: Influenced by the policies and actions of the Shiv Sena J&K unit, dozens of youths from Udhampur and Kupwara districts today joined the Shiv Sena.
According to a press release, issued from the party’s office in Jammu, a large number of people joined Shiv Sena during the ongoing membership drive in Udhampur and Kupwara districts.
In a small but impressive program organized in Barsua village of Ramnagar Assembly constituency, under the leadership of District President Sanjeev Sharma and Tehsil President Raj Singh, about five dozen people joined Shiv Sena while in another program organized in the presence of Kashmir Working President Ghulam Rasool Lone in Tehsil Wilgam and Zachaldara of Kupwara district of Kashmir, dozens of youth and women joined the party.
Under the campaign to make women self-reliant, a sewing training center has also been opened in tehsil Zachaldara where women will be given free sewing training for two months. Naseema Begum, the women president of Kashmir’s Kupwara district, welcomed the new members with Shiv Bandhan and Nishan.
