JAMMU, Aug 5: A delegation of J&K Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee led by its chairman and president Civil Secretariat Employees Union Rauf Ahmed Bhat met the newly appointed secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) M A Bukhari and took up some burning issues of the employees with him.
Mr Bhat and other members in the delegation accorded warm welcome to the new secretary and assured full cooperation. During the meeting Mr Bhat invited the attention of Mr Bukhari towards the pending issues of the employees, which included enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, re-organisation of services, removal of pay anomalies, release of charge allowance in favour of promoted SOs/ senior stenographers, revisting of J&K Civil Services ( Med Attendance and Allowance) Rules 1990, implementation of comprehensive accommodation policy and transfer policy in Civil Secretariat.
The Secretary GAD listened to the issues of the employees very patiently and assured positive response. Others who accompanied Mr Bhat included, Maqbool Hussain ( president LGEU), Mushtaq Hussain Khan (vice president), Shabir Ahmed Baba (gen secy), Sham Lal Sharma (secy), Showkat Ahmed ( publicity secy and Gayoor Iqbal ( treasurer).
