JAMMU, Dec 12: Apni Party leaders here today toured Sidhra area and interacted with locals there who claimed that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has failed to provide necessary infrastructure in their locality.
Speaking on the occasion, Apni Trade Union provincial president Jammu, Raj Sharma said it was unfortunate to note poor infrastructure in Sidhra with poor road connectivity.
He said that the area falls under JMC but development there is still a distant dream.
District president, Apni Trade Union, Anirudh Vasist said that JMC has failed as far as development of Sidhra is concerned.
“People have complaints against scattered garbage dumps, poor condition of lanes and drains,” he said.
ST Wing provincial president, Choudhary Shabir Kohli said instead of listening grievances, JMC has turned a blind eye towards public issues.
