Mohan Krishan Koul’s ‘Gulimyuuth’ hits stands

JAMMU, Dec 3: Mohan Krishan Koul’s `Gulimyuuth’ hits the stands today. The book contains 216 Vaakhs in Kashmiri under 18 titles reflecting various dimensions of life, living and cosmos.
The book was released at a simple but impressive function organised by Samprati, the organization of writers in exile at K L Sehgal hall here, today. The function was presided over by well known writer, Prof P N Trisal. The papers on the book were read by Brij Betab and Vijay Wali.
Samprati president, Dr Roshan Saraf read the welcome address while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr R L Bhat. Bal Krishan Sanyasi spoke on the author’s life and his literary works.
The speakers also spoke on `Vaakh’, `Shrukh’, Shalok and `Khyand’ and they also explained the niceties of `Vaakh’.
The poets and writers who participated in the programme included A K Naz, G R Hasrat Gadda, Dildar Mohan, A K Hugami, Rinkoo Koul, Dr Fozia Mughal, Aseer Kishtwari, Shyam Bihari, Dr Ramesh Nirash, Rajinder Aagosh, A K Zadoo and Ashok Gawhar.
