SRINAGAR, July 24: The daily wagers of Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD) Union has set 10-days deadline to the Government for fulfilling their demands.
In the statement, the union said that it has decided that if their demand for regularization is not met, they will go for strike.
“The regularization process is unduly stretched; otherwise Cabinet in their vide decision No. 151/23/2012 dated 30/08/2012, has ordered PDD to take action as per their recruitment rules which provide for dispensation in respect of PDLs/TDLs,” the statement said.
